compliance risks.
• Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear functional requirements
for Product, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Define business rules, payroll scenarios, calculation examples and testable
acceptance criteria.
• Maintain an up-to-date regulatory calendar and share it with Product to support
roadmap and planning decisions.
• Validate implemented changes from a functional and regulatory compliance
perspective before release.
• Maintain traceability between legal requirements and their implementation in
the product.
• Collaborate with QA on regulatory test scenarios, expected outcomes and
validation data.
About you
• Act as the internal point of reference for regulatory questions from Product,
Engineering, Customer Support and other stakeholders.
• Deliver regular internal training sessions on relevant legislative changes and their
product impact.
• Coordinate consultations with external labour law advisors when required.
Requirements
• Degree in Labour Relations, Law, Human Resources, Business Administration,
Payroll Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Spanish labour law, payroll, Social Security,
employment administration or labour advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of payroll calculations, Social Security contributions, personal
income tax withholding, contracts, absences, benefits and employment
obligations.
• Experience working with payroll software, HR software, professional firms,
labour advisory services or similar environments.
• Ability to interpret regulation and translate it into operational rules and functional
product requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage several regulatory changes and
deadlines in parallel.
• Professional working level of English.
Nice to have
• Experience in SaaS, ERP, HRTech or payroll software products.
