The Product Design team at Shine
To help Shine achieve its ambitious roadmap and company goals, our Product Design team is made up of 40+ talented people across Accounting, Banking, Global Design, User Research, and Copywriting.
Your role as a Product Designer
As a Product Designer in our Invoices Lifecycle team, you will shape one of the most business-critical experiences in Shine: the end-to-end journey from quote to compliant invoice. For freelancers and small business owners, invoicing is how they get paid, stay compliant, and present their business to the world.
Your responsibilities will include:
Own the full design process end-to-end — from framing opportunities and exploring solutions to validating impact and supporting implementation across the invoicing lifecycle.
Be an expert in complex B2B workflows and independently drive UX decisions for high-stakes features such as Invoice Editor 3.0, e-invoicing flows, and compliance-critical document creation.
Translate regulatory and technical requirements (VAT rules, e-invoicing standards, country-specific formats) into intuitive, user-friendly experiences that work across multiple European markets.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Tax Experts to ensure coherence across the invoicing domain and align on shared design patterns and constraints.
Define success metrics together with your PM and validate whether shipped features truly move the needle.
📍 Job located in Amsterdam / Berlin / Copenhagen / Paris, with possibility of two remote working days per week.
